How to emulate the England team:- enter competition - check
- do well in all practice games - check
- have your coach tell everyone you will definitely place highly - check
- make lots of celebration plans - check

- bottom out at the last minute from injury - check
So I shall not be going to the fencing competition this weekend, but sitting at home feeling sorry for myself and saying "ouch" occasionally in the hope of some sympathy.
That`s British sport for you I guess.
